Is Winter a good time to have portraits done?

Winter is a magic time to photograph outdoor portraits! The light is softer, the air is so clear and believe it or not when people are wearing jeans, trousers and jumpers the portraits are better as the faces are more noticeable when legs and arms are covered. Not only that, many of the outdoor locations are free from people so you can relax more during the session.

Despite it being quiet cold and windy, Steve selected an ideal outdoor venue that proved to be very sheltered. Steve gave us a lot of time and options when selected our portraits with the end result being we absolutely love them. We’ll be back when my little one is a few years older – thank you.
