" I’ve always been passionate about photographing people – I find it really worthwhile and satisfying. I guess it’s the privilege of being there to capture a special memory for someone or an important life event.

… weddings really are a smorgasbord for me. You get so many genres of photography in the one event – from a candid, photo-journalistic approach through to romantic, striking scenes - all in an emotion-filled, fun environment. But the actual shooting is only half of the creative process –a lot of effort goes into producing the wedding album. We customise each wedding album so the finished design shows the photos at their best. Getting that album design just right, so it fully captures the days essence, is very rewarding.

… portraits – I love shooting them. I enjoy working in both the studio and on outdoor locations. My shoots are relaxed and informal sessions, allowing my clients natural expressions to come out. In the studio I take advantage of being able to control the lighting to create contemporary, artistic images. And when it comes to outdoor locations, Newcastle has plenty of amazing backdrops and settings that reflect my clients lifestyles and memories. "
